Happy Birthday Richard "Magic Dick" Salwitz, harmonica player of the more or less defunct J. Geil's Band. Although hits like Centerfold and Freeze Frame finally brought greater commercial success to the band, I prefer the great, greasy days of albums such as The Morning After and Live Full House. Killer track (from both LPs) was this showcase for Magic Dick's mad harp skills: Whammer Jammer. He's 64 today.
